About

Hey there, I’m Priyansh Rastogi. I completed my Bachelors & Masters from IIIT Gwalior with a CGPA of 8. Currently I’m working at ShareChat - India’s leading social media platform(400M+ MAUs) in the web team. I like exploring emerging technologies as they allow me to push my abilities and never let me be in my comfort zone. So during my college time I explored blockchain technology and made many contributions in top opensource bitcoin projects. My opensource contributions provided me with many opportunities including remote internships at Unicorn startups of US(Lightning Labs, CertiK), which inturn helped me to pay all my college fees by myself. And more than that, it helped me to make a lot of friends globally! (I can go on and on about my opensource journey, but I’ll save it for another day!) These days I’m mostly coding in Javascript & applying my learnings of good coding practices and design patterns to build scalable web applications.

When I’m not working, I mostly spend time with my family and my cute nephew(he’s 7 months now!). I’m mostly calm and focused, thanks to my daily meditation practice & belief in cosmic powers. Did I mention that I like reading books? - one of my goals is to build a huge library in my home :)
